FAQs
How much space will I need?
Rockits are completely portable in their own box and each artist will need the space covered by 1/2 bath towel for their workspace.

How messy is it?
Rockits are much neater than paint. Little flecks of oil pastel might fall or be brushed off the rocks so working on a towel or washcloth is recommended. Glue or water can spill. Working on or near a carpet is NOT recommended.

I would also recommend that an adult take charge of the small amount of biodegradable glitter and the permanent marker since they don't need to be used til the end of the project.

What should my kids do with their rocks when they're done?
After the glue is completely dry (I use an empty plastic egg carton, a domino, or another rock to rest on) your kids can choose what kind of message they want to send and to whom. That's where the permanent marker comes in.
They can decide to keep their rocks and put them on display or to give some away. They can also choose whether or not to promote inclusive sensory and emotional education for kids birth+ after they check out the website for themselves. If they like the idea, they can add a qr code from the kit to the bottom of the rock. That way whether they display the rock or give it away, they can help promote early childhood education.

How many rocks will my kids be able to make with one rockit?
Three pre-cleaned rocks are included in each kit but they have enough of the other materials to make several more by finding and cleaning their own rocks.

When the oil pastels are gone, you can get more on amazon and the glue is just clear school glue. You can also find several brands of biodegradable glitter (recommended) on the internet.

How big is the kit?
It's 6"x4"x1.5 "

Can I get a discount for ordering more than one kit?
Absolutely! You can get 2 Rockits! for 29.99 or one for 19.99. Shipping is always free!
