A Kinder, Simpler Way of Looking at Food

lchf, energy, weightloss

I think we need an entirely new way of looking at food, energy and weight. One that helps us to feel good and have fun, not powerless and guilty.

I've lost a lot of weight (100 lbs.) and kept it off for many years but it certainly didn't happen all at once. I slowly reduced my carb intake over the years and I increased my fat as well. I kept going because it was giving me more and more energy, less and less hunger, and I was losing weight consistently.

At the same time, I started balancing my SELF.That's Sleep Eating Learning and Fun.

The first thing I recommend for anyone who wants to lose weight and/or gain energy is to start keeping track of how the food you eat is making you feel. This is a big step and unless you do it, you won't know what it takes to fuel your body the way it wants to be fueled. We sometimes forget that food is supposed to give us energy and keep us satisfied.

I developed a little system to help with your tracking. It's called the Food and Mood journal and you can access it here, (no sign up required) or you can just get out a notebook and start writing.

I'm also offering my complete energy and healthy weight tutorial for free to my community members for a limited time only!
